Notary Public Law: Accessibility

Accessibility

Section 508...
is the 1998 amendment to the Rehabilitation Act, requiring Federal agencies to ensure that information technology is accessible to persons with disabilities.

The Internet, computers, software, telecommunications and multimedia saturate our daily lives. Access to that information technology is not longer a luxury but a necessity. The goal of Section 508 is to remove barriers that limit access.

The well known "Bobby Test" is one of a variety of accessibility testing programs created to test web pages to make sure they are accessible. Bobby testing includes 3 priorities of compliance with "AAA" being the most accessible.

This website, www.notarypubliclaw.com satisfies both Section 508 guidelines and Bobby Priority A accessibility testing.
